One of the most outstanding success stories is that of a hospital in Zapopan, Jalisco. Faced with the need to wash two and a half tons of laundry daily, the hospital was looking for equipment that met high sanitary and efficiency standards.
The hospital’s growth made the need for a complete renovation of its laundry plant evident.
Two years ago, in collaboration with CENTRAX, the hospital decided to go for Domus’ advanced technology. For this ambitious project, they selected a series of specific equipment that would guarantee the modernisation and efficiency of the laundry: four DHB-70 sanitary barrier washers (70 kg), one DHB-27 washer (30 kg), three DTT-80 gas dryers (80 kg), one DTT-36 gas dryer (36 kg) and one CM-3365 calender with folder.
The priority in the development of this plant was to equip it with state-of-the-art technology that could provide the best cleaning and disinfection of linen and textiles.
The advantages of this new DOMUS LAUNDRY are remarkable: the superior capacity and energy efficiency allow the hospital’s large-scale laundry needs to be met. In addition, specialised programmes ensure proper cleaning and disinfection, while quality control and traceability systems facilitate more effective resource management. Another highlight is the significant savings in water consumption, a crucial benefit for operational sustainability.
This project not only represents an improvement in the hospital’s infrastructure, but is also a response to the significant growth it has experienced in recent years. The investment in this new laundry facility allows the hospital to continue to provide the best quality and care to its patients, ensuring that every detail, including linen and textiles, meets the highest standards of hygiene and care.
